The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia

Synopsis

Unravels the mystery of a town in the middle of the United States that imprisons anyone who enters. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc.

When Boyd enters a distant tree he finds himself at the bottom of a well

(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved roads and driveways were all that remained and the fictional town was built on top of them. A rope is lowered to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above despite his wrists being shackled.

Very intriguing series

Appeared in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Starring the Pixies. Good storytelling.

Good horror TV

Good characters as in most of them they have common sense. Gory as hell in parts. Lots of mysterious things to think about.

This is a good show, in my opinion

I really enjoyed the first season and hope they make another. There aren’t many good horror TV shows around anymore.
